The Fame is gQ Marley's lead single off his new album (Released on Dec 17th) DREAM II: Revenge of the NERD . The song is a remake to Lauryn Hill's hit single Doo Wop (That Thing). The song is filled with clever wordplay, thought provoking puns and an entertaining delivery that adds humor to a cautious tale. The catchy hook samples Hill's iconic voice a gives the listener a nostalgic feel of the 90's era. The Fame is classic remake that not only pays homage to it's predecessor but transcends hip hop to another level using the past as a way to improve the future.
